How much will Neura Health cost?

Video visits with Neura providers are billed as in-network specialist visits within your Aetna health plan, so you would incur the same copay or coinsurance as you would for an in-network telehealth visit.  For POS plans, it would be a $35 copay and for HSA plans, after meeting the deductible, member is responsible for 15%.  Health coaching sessions are free of charge.

What types of providers can I see with Neura?

Neura offers video visits with board-certified neurologists, physician assistants and nurse practitioners specializing in particular neurological conditions. We also have board-certified health and wellness coaches, who help patients with emotional support and management of lifestyle modifications.

I had previously been on the waitlist for an appointment scheduled at Emory Healthcare, and Emory recommended that I  see a Neura provider sooner. What happens now?

Once you complete a visit with a Neura medical provider, your future appointment at Emory Healthcare will be cancelled.  If Neura determines that you need in-person evaluation or treatment in the future, we will refer you back to Emory or another local provider, and work with Emory to get you scheduled.

What happens if I need in-person care such as imaging, lab work, injections or infusions?

We can order labs or scans to be done at Emory Healthcare or another local in-network facility, and Neura providers can interpret the results and adjust your treatment plan accordingly.  If you need in-person evaluation or treatment such as injections or infusions, we can also refer you to Emory or another local provider, and work with Emory to get you scheduled.

Can Neura Health providers prescribe medications?

Fees for cancelling or rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance are $199 for an initial 45 minute visit and $144 for a 20 minute follow up visit.
