How much does the Nerivio device cost?

Each Nerivio device has 18 treatments. Nerivio is covered either by insurance or through the Nerivio Savings Program for eligible patients. The co-insurance amount is capped at $89 per refill. *The Nerivio Savings Program is not available to patients enrolled in Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, Managed Medicaid, TRICARE, or any other government healthcare program.

How much will a video visit cost?

The video visit may be covered by your insurance. Insurance copay for the appointment typically ranges from $10-$90, depending on your plan.  If your visit is not covered by insurance, an initial 45 minute video appointment costs $199.  You can sign up for an account and then the Neura concierge team can tell you exactly how much it would cost for you based on your individual insurance plan.  You will always be told how much you would be charged prior to the appointment.

What insurance plans are in-network for the video visit with a headache & migraine specialist?

Many different plans that vary state are in-network with Neura Health; click here to check your plan.  If your plan is in-network, so you would only pay your plan's copay or coinsurance for your video visit. 

Can Neura Health providers prescribe Nerivio, and other medications?

Yes, we can do so in most states. There are no restrictions on which specific devices or medications we can prescribe, but your provider will work with you individually to identify the best treatment plan for you.

What types of providers can I see for my video visit?

Neura offers video visits with board-certified neurologists, physician assistants and nurse practitioners specializing in headache and migraine.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule a video visit?

You must cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a fee. This policy is in place to ensure that our providers are compensated for their time and to allow our practice to utilize appointments for other patients in need of prompt medical care. Fees for cancelling or rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance are $199 for an initial 45 minute visit and $144 for a 20 minute follow up visit.

What happens if I need in-person care such as imaging, lab work, injections or infusions?

We can order labs or scans to be done at a local in-network facility, and our providers can read the results and adjust your treatment plan accordingly.  If you need in-person treatment, we can refer you to a local provider to administer any injections or infusions while Neura still oversees your care.
